Grease Paint, the newsletter of ACT I, began publication in the fall of 1993.  Faith Brown was the first editor.  Beginning in August of 1998, after ACT I's website was established, Grease  Paint began putting expanded editions on line as well.

Prior to Grease Paint and Grease Paint Online, past ACT I newsletters had been printed with such titles as "Stage Door Monthly," "Masque," and "The ACT I Newsletter."  All past issues of Grease Paint Online are still online and available to be downloaded. 

Grease Paint Online offers readers information about all aspects of ACT I, including information about current and upcoming productions, important ACT I business, and other items of interest.

Other regular or semi regular features include:

"Member of the Month," profiling an individual or family who is or has been active in ACT I.

"Trivia Quiz,"  a monthly look back at past ACT I productions with trivia questions on a given theme.
