Discussion:  Romeo and Juliet  Steve reported that things are going well with two weeks left until production.  He asked for names of individuals who might complete some sewn items for the show as a cast member who had taken on some sewing projects was having difficulty getting everything done.  Several names were given.

Discussion:  Ida Higgins Tribute  More discussion was given to honoring Ida during the R&J performances.  It was decided that ushers would wear costumes Ida has made.  Steve has pulled several costume pieces already that can be used and more will be hunted down from the costume shop.

Discussion:  Piano  Marcy reported that she had discussed our concerns about the piano with Lu.  Lu had told her that the gouges in the piano had occurred while the piano was onstage during A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.  Lu told Marcy they would cooperate in any way they could to see that the piano was cared for in accordance with our wishes.

Discussion:  Old Creamery Performances  Ron had proposed during the last meeting that we might consider helping to underwrite the cost of performances of the Old Creamery Theatre’s children’s tour for area schools.  This was discussed again at length but no action was taken at this time.  One option proposed was that performances could be booked into the Palace with the children then either walking or being bussed to the theatre from the local elementary schools.

Motion:  (Marcy / Brian)  To adjourn the meeting.  Motion carried.

The Meeting was adjourned at 12:20 PM.

Respectfully Submitted,

Steve Arnold
Secretary
