Special guests from around the nation filled the auditorium of the Palace Theatre for the October 14 performance of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.  The entire house had been bought out the American Legion Women's Auxiliary for a presentation of the production to delegates from their national convention being held in the Amanas.  The occasion was for the installation of Sherry McLaughlin of nearby Mt. Auburn as the national president of that organization.  Sherry contacted ACT I two years earlier to book a performance of one of our shows on that specific date.
