“Tragedy tomorrow, comedy tonight!”

Special guests from around the nation filled the auditorium of the Palace Theatre for the October 14 performance of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.: The entire house had been bought out the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary for a presentation of the production to delegates from their national convention being held in the Amanas.: The occasion was for the installation of Sherry McLaughlin of nearby Mt. Auburn as the national president of that organization.: Sherry contacted ACT I two years earlier to book a performance of one of our shows on that specific date.
