“Drowsy Chaperone” is a musical comedy. It is part homage to musical theater and part spoof. It is a re-enactment of a 1920’s style musical called the Drowsy Chaperone complete with a flapper, a diva, a Latin Lothario, and a cad.
“Drowsy Chaperone” will performed with a live stage orchestra lead by Judy Trystad.

The Drowsy Chaperone is a delightful, fast paced musical that was one of the hits of the 2006 Broadway season. In addition to the show’s glittering musical score, it features snappy dialogue and plenty of physical comedy, plus a ridiculously improbable ending that defies all logic but will leave the audience howling with laughter. And I get to direct it! What fun!
