and Membership Meeting
The ACT I Studio

Board Members Present:
Joan Cooling, Marcy Horst, Steve Arnold, Brian Larkin, Ron Baldwin.
A work session was held at 6:00 to discuss
the upcoming audit.
Call to Order:
6:30 PM
Motion:
(Marcy / Ron) To approve
the minutes of the February meeting as presented. Motion carried.
Discussion:
Old Creamery Children’s Tour. The
discussion from the previous month was continued, discussing the possibility of
ACT I helping to finance the Old Creamery performances in Vinton for next year
for grades K-4. Ron agreed to
gather information for next time.
Discussion:
Dates for 2002 - 2003 The
following dates were agreed upon:
Children’s
Theatre: July 12, 13, 14, 19,
20, 21

Me, Kate: September 5, 7, 8,
12, 14, 15

Discussion:
It Runs in the Family The
May production conflicts on the first Friday night with the high school Cabaret
program. Options for the sixth
performance were considered, including changing the first Friday to a Saturday
matinee, or dropping the performance.
Motion:
(Steve / Marcy) To
drop the Friday, May 11 performance of It Runs in the Family.
Motion carried.
Director’s Report:
Titanic Disaster Hearings Steve
reported that he is just going into production on this readers’ theatre and
that the roles have been mostly cast.
Discussion:
Gem Recognition A
discussion was held as to when the spring sponsor recognition could be held, and
it was agreed that it could held after the Sunday, May 12
performance of It Runs in the Family. Types of plaques were discussed.
Discussion:
Next Meeting It was
agreed to hold the next meeting on Sunday, April 21, at Pizza Ranch before the
performance of Titanic Disaster Hearings.
Motion:

adjourn the meeting. Motion
carried.
