Events Series Dinner Theatre in Rehearsal ...
Ledge, Ledger, and the Legend
by Rachel Kramer
In rehearsal is the ACT I Event Series, dinner theater production of Ledge, Ledger, and the Legend, by Paul Elliott. This show promises to be extremely funny, while different, considering the entire play takes place high in the air and out on the ledge of a building. The initial jumper, Peter, is played by Steve Auld whose character's facial expressions are priceless from beginning to end. The freelance "suicide counselor" who at one point in the show, writes a receipt to the jumper promising to help him attract a crowd at the jump site, is played by Tony Bopp. And finally the plot thickens when a counselor from the "Suicide Union" played by Rick Primmer shows up on the ledge. Rick's character PJ, coincidentally is employed by a company whose title is "DROP-OUT". While attending a rehearsal, the three men had me laughing out loud. This show is under the direction of Mary Horst and Alex Vazquez. The dinner theater will be held at the Vinton Country Club, November 9 and 10 at 7:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased by calling ACT I ticket reservations at (319)472-9957.

The production is sponsored by River City Graphics Solutions - Jim Mayhew, and Betterton Family Chiropractic
