About

act1.org has been appearing mysteriously out of the primordial ooze of the banks of the Cedar River in Vinton on a regular basis since 1997.  Although it was once called something else, it has been called act1.org since 1999.  The site is curiously up-to-date a good deal of the time, and its design completely changes mysteriously every year in June, at the very point in the year that the new season is beginning.  No one seems to know how the site happens, though, or who, if anyone, pays for it.

In addition to the black and white star graphics - (which are not really black and white graphics at all but are actually color photographs of black and white things) - photograhs of past ACT I shows highlight the titles of many of our pages.
